Become a Member

Membership Criteria:  (Effective January 27th the by-laws were amended from the previous 2005, AAUW by-laws admit to membership, upon completion of the membership application and payment of dues, a graduate holding at least an Associate or equivalent degree from a qualified institution.) The education component has been waived and only the application and dues are required.

Note: Membership Dues are renewed annually on the month the membership began.

AAUW national individual membership dues are $69. $66 is tax deducible as a charitable contribution, and $3 is not deducible because it supports the AAUW Action Fund’s Section 501(c) 4 Lobby Corps and get-out-the-vote activities.

Student affiliate dues include national dues of $58.81, $55.81 of which is tax deductible.

To become a member of the Porterville branch:

  1. Please download our AAUW Application and mail it to PO Box 1001, Porterville CA 93258 or;
  2. Email it to aauw.portervillebranch@gmail.com or;
  3. Apply online at the National AAUW Website. (Please connect with President Maria to obtain step by step instructions)
