Tracking feedback from former Tech Trek Campers

Megan, class of 2008: Loves science and math. Wouldn’t have changed her Tech Trek experience for the world. It really impacted her life. She is attending PC and studying criminology.

Maria, class of 2008: She was only an average student, content to get a C. At TT she met so many great girls, that she is still in contact with. She wants to do something with her life, to help others. She is working toward a double major in Biology/Sociology at Fresno State..

Madeline, class of 2008: Tech Trek helped to keep her convinced of opportunities and not be scared off by challenges. She is studying computer science at Sac State.

Mikaya, class of 2009: Tech Trek opened her eyes to appreciate math. She learned to be herself … confident instead of shy. She wants to study forensic anthropology.

Larissa, 2009: Camp gave her a good experience, learned new things, what’s out there. It was fun! Met lots of people. Good prep for college. She is attending PC and hopes to become a pediatrician.

Sabrina, class of 2010:  Learned a lot about possible careers. The classes were inspiring and exciting. She looks back fondly on camp. She would like the opportunity to inspire other girls as she was inspired. She has written  Tech Trek into her resume. She wants to be an ultrasound technician.

Megan, class of 2011: Made her open minded about engineering and aware of Math and Science careers. She liked meeting other girls with similar interests. She  is in contact with a girl from camp.She learned you should be confident about being smart. She hopes to major in math, if the job market looks good.

Ana, class of 2011: Gave her a better understanding of math and science. Made her aware of career fields open to her … not just scientist or math teacher. She wants to be a pharmacist.
